xfbikerchick chapter 12 . 2/23/2014 I love the relationship that is being built on their friendship. |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 12 . 10/9/2012 Yay! It's Caskett smootchies times! ;P Fantastic ending to the Teen portion of the story but if there's a HBO ending for the story? Gotta read it and ASAP, because you really managed to make things all kinds of "Day-um!" without getting graphic enough to force a ratings shift. Which is skill! |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 11 . 10/9/2012 Oh ho...I am loving this! I definitely can't wait for the sprint to the finish, since it's gonna be Castkett sharing-caring time! Huzzah! ;P |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 10 . 10/9/2012 Ruh-roh... *confused Scooby-Doo look* Nice of Castle to offer his beach house, but I wanna see Beckett get in his face about making with the tongue hockey, stat! And have Jim get in his face about being overly generous...have her dad and Rick square off for some conflict-initiated male bonding ;D |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 9 . 10/9/2012 Whew...that was quite the intense piece of writing! Different method of getting there, but I really think you're keeping everyone in-character and exploring stuff that took much longer to be discussed in the series (a good thing!). So bravissimo! ;P Utterly fantastic stuff! |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 8 . 10/9/2012 I wouldn't fret too much about doing cases unless you want to. As I have been told, a story doesn't need to contain something unless it furthers the plot, so having the victim be a murdered co-ed tied up and beaten by a college prof was only necessary if it triggered character growth in our two heroes (which it did) is great. Having case descriptions frequently isn't necessary and I think readers can accept there are tons more investigations Castle helped the 12th with that we don't see for vague reasons like they were basically Esposito favourites ("Jack shot Jill over Bill") or they echoed previous investigations and didn't causes characters to show off new bits of themselves :D |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 7 . 10/9/2012 And the fact Josh would try and stick his oar in doesn't tell you something, Kate? That Castle wants to help, but will only interfere so much before letting you run the show? ;P Spot on voices and motivations, even if the situations seem rather OOC for S3. Just hope you get these crazy kids that over-involved boyfriends and girlfriends are not what the two halves of Caskett are seeking... |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 6 . 10/9/2012 It's interesting that we get so much teasing or hints that Kate's got experience with at least the basics of certain subcultures but other than the case mentioned above, there's been no real discussion of it. That and the fact that Castle definitely had certain dominator (I would have to assume that a male who does what a dominatrix does would be something like that term) qualities when Kate's welfare is involved. So yeah...loving this story and I am totally intrigued about how things will flow from here. Get the feeling Gina will be finding out sooner or later. Fireworks will fly then! ;P |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 5 . 10/9/2012 Hmmmmmm...roleplay names and safe words? Things may not be sexual - yet - but things are moving an a completely unexpected direction, I must say! However, nothing feels completely off...just because Marlowe & co. can't have Caskett goes 50 Shades of Grey, doesn't mean fans can't muse how Castle might get Kate to come out of her shell ;P Fantastic stuff! I am on the edge of my seat to know what comes next! |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 4 . 10/9/2012 Knowing this storyline was created before they aired the episode with the murdered Florida state lottery winner (where Castle talked about his own issues with going nuts with spending money like it's water when he first became rich) kinds makes his comments here spooky, what with the perceived prescience. Still, I am really liking the direction this story is taking and how all the characters are feeling right but getting to explore new directions in their personalities. Great work! |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 3 . 10/9/2012 Well...that was simple, wasn't it? Just a "not what it looks like, here's the facts" and Alexis is apologetic and all? Wow...she is the perfect daughter! ;P I kid...I kid...you defienitely captured the level of trust and acceptance between Rick and Alexis where Castle's antics don't put Alexis off of loving him. Glad to see that Jim's pulling through :D |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 2 . 10/9/2012 Well...I guess it's not too hard to believe Castle's got magic skills in more than just the written word, but he's gonna have to really up his blarney game to explain to Alexis that what she saw wasn't the real story ;p Fantastic again! Definitely loving this story to bits! |
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 1 . 10/8/2012 Oh jeez...not Jim Beckett! Kate was shattered by Johanna's death and barely managed to build up a shell to be able to go about daily tasks, so I can't imagine what will happen if Jim's killed off! Well...I guess I should note that you really have gotten a great hook of a story built up here and I am on the edge of my seat to see what happens next. Fantastic job! |
eva-david chapter 12 . 6/29/2012 God, this story is beautiful. I love the way you make them interact and the whole trust-thing fits Kate so perfectly. What I don't like is the Alexander and Katherine thing. I just can't get it into my head that they're the same people. I still loved the story and I'm sad it's over. Summer |
