While it's good Miranda insisted on getting Andy help, as someone familiar with Emergency Medicine, calling her personal physician and not EMS was a -potentially fatal- mistake (something Miranda's doctor would have pointed out immediately). Yes, she may be a doctor, but a GP/Internist is not the same as an ER doc or even a Paramedic; emergency medicine is what paramedics and ER docs are specifically/highly trained and equipped for, in addition to dealing with law enforcement & evidence collection.

This all should have been (and would have been) done at a hospital ER.

A good/interesting story otherwise.

Ok before I get into the review two things. First this whole story had me singing "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera in my head. 2nd this line "in the future of course I do. A lot." cracked me up. I couldn't stop laughing. A lot she says. A lot! A LOT! LOL Oh Andy.

Ok now back to the review. This story from the very beginning I felt like crying. Poor Andy getting attacked, but even through it all she's worried about Miranda's well being! I just want to cry and hug her and tell her to think about herself. She's the one in danger! Then she thinks Miranda will be angry at her and I just wanted to die. The poor thing! Why? I almost caught a fit when Miranda actually yelled at her! If I didn't know how hard it is for Miranda to act like this then I'm sure I would have. You just don't say that to people especially when she's the victim of the crime! No Miranda no! Sigh. I'm just happy that Andy got the best care and Miranda did care for her and let her stay. It's sad that people don't get the care they deserve and I'm glad you mentioned it. It's a horrible truth and for a second I thought you were going to go there, but you didn't. I'm glad since I'm pretty sure my heart couldn't take it if they police thought she was asking for it with the way she was dressed. No. I would've jumped into the screen and strangled them. Not the way Police are supposed to act! I'm sure Miranda would've found a way to fire and kill them too. But I loved this story. It wasn't depressingly sad, but it was serious for the topic and it was handled awesomely. (I would've been extremely upset if they ended up having sex in the end. I didn't think they would because you were doing so well! But some authors do things like that and no that isn't right at all.) But yay. Thank you for the awesome story! Definitely going to read some more from you. Oh! Also this might be wrong for me to say, but I kind of thought it was adorable that Andy referred to the man as a madman. That sounds wrong, but it's like a child saying "the bad man" and I couldn't get that out of my head. I just wanted to hug her and pinch her cheeks, but then I remember what that man did and I snap back to the story.
