You could do that Travis (and them lot) meet this old man or old lady that might be an old demigod? He could either help or try to kill the four that try to save Hermes. He could show the four directions to the sap - but maybe an old monster is guarding the sap or something?
On the Romance side, could you make Connor like Sarah?

Okay, so the people on the quest reach pikes peak and manage to search for a few minutes while it is dark, then make camp for the night. A few monsters attack during the night, but I don't know if you want any characters injured. The next day, they could ask some tree nymphs in the area about the oldest tree. So, maybe a really old nymph would live in that tree. Hermes get worse, and it's mire difficult to get the sap then they thought, since the tree is really thick, being old, so it's hard to get the sap without hurting the tree. They are also running out of time. Their horses won't be fast enough to make it back, so they have to make new thunder again, and maybe steal a form of transportation. Okay, please please update!

This is a really good story so far and I hope that you continue to update. I think that maybe Travis, Connor, Sarah and Amanda should run into a monster and then one of them is severely hurt. Then at the last moment they will finally get the sap but may have some confusion on which tree. Then it could be a desperate run to save Hermes. Just a suggestion, but I really hope you continue, I have read so many stories that are good but then the author cancels it. Good luck.

You should have them get attacked along the way and there half immortal brother pan save them then they go to connor/travises moms house anf rest then go and get the pine stuff but the minitor is guarding it and they kill it then they take a plane home and they found out that the titans poisend him all of that but with lots of detail in it and make alot of brotherly moments for travis and connor oh and make perspone help them in some way but pleses make alot of brotherly moments! Hope u use this byyyyy!

Ummm...Ideas...well, you could, ummmmm... bring in an OC who then betrays them or somthing, or bring in Jason anyway even though Connor and co havn't met him yet. Horses are waaaaaayy slower than cars, so why did they choose to go by horse? And why do the Stolls hate Rachel so much? (or is it the fact that you hate Rachel and that sentiment is leaking into your story?)
