Nice going. It makes me realise how much Neville and Susan have in common. I thought it was going to be a romance before the story progressed. Merlin... can you imagine Hannah's face if Susan made a move on Neville? It wouldn't happen, but still, it's funny to think about. Susan's soul mate belongs in Ravenclaw in my opinion anyway, so there's no way.

AWWWWW AWWWWW AWWW. oh my god. Could Neville be any more adorable? Seriously he's just so awkward and cute and I just love him. So i never even considered them being together, but than i thought about how they had both lost their families and they work so well together.

"There was a moment of awkward silence. Silences always tended to feel awkward when Neville was around." I died a little when i read that because it's so true!

I loved the beginning, and a lot of the self-deprecating comments were really well done.

You have a typo though-just thought you'd like to know, "and this was just what he ahd to do."

I also liked that he initially thought she was going to offer him sympathy and then had to backtrack on his emotions. It was well-written.
