| 69RoobyBoobie chapter 1 . 5/1 A couple of my friends and I share a tradition where we read fan-fictions inspired by childhood TV shows. This was by far the worst one I have ever come across. My colleagues agree, the spacing, pacing and wording was absolutely sickening to say the least. However, I understand that this may be a healthy therapy excerise! Reading this for pleasure unfortunately I was quite and thoroughly disappointed. Another complaint I must bring up is the lack of climax! Where is the pizazz? I personally believe this could have dove even deeper with the dynamic between the two bunnies, Max and Ruby. I don’t mean to offend anyone involved in this creation. I believe everyone has the right to their own creativity.. but all due respect- this sucked. I will be rewriting this for my own satisfaction for my own sense of clarity. | Steel Celestial chapter 1 . 7/25/2013 You know, I never watched Max and Ruby when I was younger. I really started watching it because of my niece and was curious if there were any stories on it. I'm not going to lie, I went looking for them with low expectations as most kids shows that are made into fan fiction are very poorly done and creepy pasta like. I would like to just say you blew me away! The way you captured Ruby's emotions about the whole thing and about how she had to grow up in such a short time was beautifully done. I love the way you write, I really felt for Ruby and just how you expressed them. As far as back stories go, to quote Siskel and Ebert, I give this two thumbs up! |
