Wonderful story!

That was great. Yay Steve woke up. Not being able to remember anyone of 5-0 is sad. I wonder what kind of mind he has? It sounds like he has a mind of a teenager since he mistook Mary Anne for their mom. Things should be interesting now. I hope they can help him to remember.

That was a great ending to the story. I love the baby's name. I can see little Stevie doing all the things that Kono talked about, even the surfing. Hopefully Danny and Rachel will agree on a suitable age for him to learn. I can also see Steve and Kono having a baby of their own some day.

That was great. I knew that the creepy guy wouldn't achieve killing Steve. You scared me for a minute there with what the Governor said. I'm glad that Steve is finally able to return to work.

That was great. The way that Danny got Kono to Steve's house was ingenious. Gracie asking for a dog after saying that Steve needed one was cute. I especially like how she doesn't like the word 'we'll see'. She must have heard that a lot with Rachel and Stan. I hope she and Steve do get a dog. Hopefully the guy planning to attack the team fails, and doesn't manage to hurt anyone. Is he not planning on trying to get Kamekona?

I loved the entire chapter. New Steve is so much more open than Old Steve, but I still hope that some of Old Steve returns. Yay about Danny and Rachel officially getting back together.

Steve is learning slowly, but he is slowly returning to normal. I like how he's having Kono teaching him hand to hand combat. I can't wait to see how the picnic goes.

That was great. At least Danny finally told Steve what happened. I can't believe that Steve is comparing his life to characters on NCIS. Although I can kind of see Danny being DiNozzo. And even Steve being like Gibbs. The Rachel/Danny moments are great. I wish that the baby had really been his on the show so that she and him could have gotten back together.

That was great. Steve as a mentally younger person is really sweet and adorable. I hope that he is able to get his memories back soon.

Okay, I was a little gutted when Steve didn't get his memories back (or even some of them...) but I loved this anyway! It was awesome :D

So Rachel is prego, nice touch. I see you are following the story line of the show in bits and pieces to fit your world view and I for one am loving it. The bad guy resurfaces. This could be so bad and yet might just be the thing to trigger that sense memory in Steve. Kono and Steve admitting to loving one another. The team getting back slowly. Very nice and I now return you to your regularly scheduled broadcast as I dive back into this brilliant story you have created for our amusement and enjoyment...Ghost!

You know as sad as this is, and it is sad. It is also fantastic the way he fights his way back from a near death. How he pushes himself and knows that in the end he won't remember everything or be able to do everything or be who he once was. Yes, I know that was a big run on sentence. Thank you for pointing that out to me. Who knew? Sorry I digress. Where was I? Ah, got it. While he will not recover certain memories, he does still have his instincts and motor skills are related to sense memory. So his fighting technique would come back. It is instinct. It is sense memory. Our senses remember even if the mind does not. Muscles remember, how to operate, even if our mind does not.

Memory is not just stored in the mind. It is also stored in the muscles. What they know they always know it is a question of accessing them. Thus the term, sense memory. It is subconscious.

I love the fact that he is growing closer to Kono. All I can say at this point is, they do deserve each other. ...Ghost! Oh sorry, I forgot. You are doing a brilliant job of this story. I will have to put you on alert so I can read one as you write it. Thus my reviews might be more fun. (grins and slips effortlessly away fading as his name sake indicateds)
