I first came across this story years ago, but, because of its rating, did not read it. Instead, I made myself wait until I was seventeen. I am now, and I just wanted to tell you that this story was worth the wait. Beautifully done!

A lovely fiery, passionate story! Many thanks for this one. I really enjoyed it. I loved the tension between the characters and the way in which they struggle together physically and emotionally. I particularly liked how Gandalf seems to know that Legolas and Gimli will grow closer as the quest continues. Clever idea. And the last line in which Gandalf seems to be laughing is inspired. Very well written.

You writing style is very refreshing. It is not the lazy and easy writing that one finds so often in Fanfiction. Wonderful story. Lily

Wow, that was... amazing. That was a terrific slash fiction, even though it was incredibly depressing. I'm a bit dense though, was Gandalf a _bad_ influence in this fic?

Nevermind that. Brilliant. Not "enjoyable" to read, per se, because I was too busy fighting sick dread at Legolas, but great.

That is an evil, evil Ring. What an incredible portrayaly of It's seduction of Legolas. I loved this fic; I think my favorite part is Gimli's heartfelt response to Legolas: "Yes. If that is what it takes. If that is what you need-what you ask." How fitting that that response was what brought Legolas back to himself.

Eek! Noooo! Legolas wouldn't...he couldn't...Can't explain more without spoilers but *Gimli* is the one holding *Legolas* down - though I agree that both are going to be totally screwed over by the experience.

That was great! Tolkien never talked about the Ring's effect on the others. I had no idea it could be so corruptive to even sweet Legolas. Ooh, it was great seeing him with such dark thoughts and in a scenario I could have never anticipated - Legolas raping. ** Shudders ** You did that so well. But most especially Gimli. Who would have expected such a compassionate response. Bravo to a really well-done character. I will now look for other tales by you. Good job!
