Really nice building of the story and their thoughts throughout. It's interesting that you think of it has a series of oneshots because it reads beautifully as what went on the background of the first half of season 2 with excellent continuity from the canon! ;-) please keep writing!

I'm working my way through your amazing story (planning to review at the end) and then, had to, had to, had too(!), comment in this chapter because Jules wishing Sam was a seahorse? So perfect and sweet and amazing! :-)

Your descriptions are amazing! You've written a scene that I would find very believable had the show introduced her father when Jules was shot. This is exactly what I would have envisioned-and wished I were skilled enough to write.

I love the way you write Sam and Jules' relationship...very sweet.

This is a story I fall more in love with every time we are lucky enough to have you add a chapter.

You could just feel Jules' frustration rolling off her in waves- replaced on the team, everything she spent her whole life working towards, all that had work and there she is- replaced. You could sense her gritting her teeth and figuratively digging in her heels and vowing that this would not beat her. That she would not only stand but walk, run, climb up and downstairs with 20lbs of gear but that moment in PT was her first moment to understand what a battle it was all going to be.

You have that moment of self defeat, that shock at how hard it all is and then Sam (my dear Sam) comes in and us so proud of her and it's like her perspective switches, his reaction becomes her mirror. Lovely- just so lovely.

And the end... I just melted, totally melted (a big puddle of Del goo in front of my laptop). This story with its small moments just really moves me. Please keep up the wonderful work, I cannot wait for an update.

Wow, this is so true for physio, I've killed my knees a few times and it's so painful and so tiring, you've got it here. I love her determination here and I love the realization that she's got to get used to relying on other people as much as she absolutely hates it with every fiber of her being.

I also love how she can't stop thinking about how she's failing and then Sam comes in so proud of all she's accomplished; it was a great showing of their different perspectives. Love the little line about the biology book too, I can see Sam reading everything he possibly could get his hands on to try and learn about what Jules was going through.

Keep it up when you have time, I know I'm swamped so I'm sure you are too...

You know what, reading this story just made me feel even worse for Sam when Jules dumped him. I know that we don't know what happened off screen after she got shot, but I think something similar with what you've been writing and Sam my Sam! D:

Anyways. This was yet another great one. Stubborn Jules and the exchange at the end, loved it!

These two chapters are great. I've been so busy and slacking off in my reviews so this is for both the chapters.

Gotta say, I absolutely loved chapter 21. It was adorable and wonderful and awesome. Sam climbing his way up to her window and sneaking into her room like a teenager. Going through her things and packing a bag. I loved the chance that he might fall, I mean we know that he's Samtastic but it just shows how close he's getting to pushing it (especially since we know that she breaks it off with him after this whole gunshot wound thing). But I loved it, it was so sweet.

This chapter was also really great. Loved how we say his view of Donna, really fits in with everything we saw on the show. I also love how jules is kind of having a hard time with the physico, I guess we kind of just expect her to be Jules and for her to power through and get out of the hospital in record time but in reality she's got a lot of hard, painful wok ahead of her. Thanks for this, keep updating please. :)

Good chapter! I like how Sam compares Donna to Jules and finds Donna wanting. I also like how you have Jules respond at the end. I never understood how the others on the Team just accepted Donna like that. I mean, I know she was good, but they didn't seem to care that Jules was gone at all.
