Good story! However, in my opinion (Probably worthless to you.), The moment Naruto started calling the teryn and his wife with a formal greetings (My lord, etc.) I found myself not liking it. It ruined Naruto's sense of carelessness and his fun side. Also, Naruto using a shied ruined Naruto's image. Dual swords/daggers, perhaps archery, I understand. Then again, as I said before, that what appears to me, yet for you, its fine for you... on the plus side, I like the plot!

You could've done so much more than have Naruto being necessarily an idiot. Right now, his chakra is his greatest tool. Given the exposure to lyrium, that has diminished. He should NOT taint it any further with things like Darkspawn blood.

If truly need be, Naruto can switch with a clone when Duncan tries to kill him. Remember, he may not be the SNEAKIEST ninja in the Naruto world, but he DOES know the basics. And the basics can have him looking like he died.
