I must admit, the thought of this pairing - or just these two characters having a conversation - has always been something I've wanted to see/read. And I really liked this short story. Not filled with loud bashing lines or violent behavior.. Just a sweet one shot with a creepy but still comforting twist to it. :)

I really liked it - and it's the first thing I've read about Marik and Jounoichi interacting with each other!

Oh, Malik! I love his capability to surprise here. There's something so irresistably charming about him - and the thoughts which seethe beneath the smirking surface are complex and calculating.

You make Malik and Jonouchi work together astonishingly well. Scattered around this fic are incredibly perceptive and original comments about the two; your natural ease with characterisation is very impressive. And the last line was simultaneously adorable and genius. Definitely an excellent read.
