I wept straight through the last 2 chapters...I was afraid of running out tissues...just wow...the emotion is just heart wrenching. I'm so glad you followed 90% of the fandom in bringing the Jazz-man back though!
This fic let me mourn Jazz and Ironhide properly, as I couldn't during the movies (so much back to back action) so thanks for writing this. Well done.

Ah, damn I hate it when Jazz dies. I feel even worse for Prowl- he has to live through it... probably. I wonder, since the twins and Wheeljack are the only ones there and Prowl isn't particularly close to a lot of mechs or femmes, if Prowl will cling to them in his feelings of hurt. Jazz was protective over Prowl until the end.

I have no words to describe, exactly what I feel about this chapter. On one hand you have the unexpected ending, or rather expected ending, and on the other you wish it never happened.

Considering the title, I guess we should have expected that. However that does little to comfort our aching hearts for both Prowl and Jazz, Especially when things look like they were getting better and at the same time growing worse.

The Ratchet and Wheeljack scene was by far my favorite because it showed a tenderness and a need. Jazz tore at my heart just with how...empty he was. Like you said last chapter, they (ratchet, jazz, and sideswipe) were falling apart without their bonded. However because of the circumstances...

Anyways, a delicate chapter and their personalities were captured spectacularly. It is so heartaching that you just want everything to be alright and withe the way everything is going it doesn't like it will. But that doesn't mean that we can't hope for one, right?
