XDDDD Oh Jecht, you never cease to amuse. Such a hilariously and tactlessly blunt guy. And like it or not, he DID pass on that trait to Tidus. XDD

Anyway, this just occurred to me. Take a look at one of the XIII-2 english trailers...I want to say, the one titled "promise." Listen carefully to Caius's voice.

It's Liam O'Brien, the EXACT same guy who voices Kain in Dissidia and FFIV DS version. Granted, I can't find anything that says he'll be voicing Caius, but OMG, it has to be Liam. The tone is so identical. I'm just super interested in how the rivalry between those two is going to be played out, because I keep thinking that's going to filter out into Kain/Lightning fic sometime after XIII-2 is released. (Personally, I'm also interested in Noel. He could pass for an older Sora, physically, but SO much more bitter by far. Sora doesn't have a bitter bone in his body).

Anyway, I like this one as well. The romance wasn't heavy enough for me to go, "ugh," (I don't like Lightning/Kain, but I'll read well written stuff of them) and in true fashion to his character, Jecht was indeed the star of this fic for me. Nice job!

This just made my day. Don't know how I feel about Kain/Lightning, but the innuendo made me LOL hysterically. I'm about as immature about it as Jecht is. Thank you for writing this!

Great fic btw. I liked how there seemed to be a weird kind of tension between Kain and Lightning and Jecht was just awesome.

I hadn't even thought about kainxlightning before but now I'm afraid your fic might have made me ship them. I don't know if I should love or hate you for this.

-Kain doesn't look like he's the talkative person, but he does talk a "lot" with Lightning.
