I LOVED THE BIT WHERE VIRGIL WENT UP TO SCOTT PULLED BACK HIS FIST AND THEN TAPPED HIS CHIN! GREAT WORK LOOPSTA.

Wow... again I feel as if I just watched a really good film and now i'm sad it's over. I love the way you write Scott and Virgil. And John and Alan and Gordon and Jeff! I wonder where Tin-Tin and Kyrano are though and Grandma... It's amazing though!

Loved it! Even though Shiver ended on a wonderful high note to revisit them a few days later when they're all resigned to the aftermath was great. Somehow I don't believe that Alan never realized he was restocking Gordon's arsenal by the pool. Loved all the little references to past history. Scotts wanting Virgil to take a swing at him was so in character. And Virgil just wanting to let it go. Small price to pay and all that, while deep down he was so affected by it all. Nice little addition to a really good story!

I hope you don't mind me reviewing Smacked without knowing what happens in Shiver. I haven't actually read Shiver although I have now bookmarked it.(I just love the story titles!) Sounds like the boys all took a beating, though?

Lol'd at the image of Gordon stretched out on a sun lounger with a broken leg throwing balls at Alan.

If I was Virgil I would not want to be alone in a rescue situation with Alan either. the kid is far too impulsive. I would rather see John piloting TB1 in Scott's absence. Hell, I'd just like to see John piloting TB1! HOTTT!

LOL at John being asked to sit on Scott. That's like placing a leaf on a bear! Uh...lame analogy but you get the picture.

Scott to John- "Your mind works in strange ways, dude." Love it! Scott looks like someone who would say 'dude.'

I enjoyed this story- it had humour and drama and brotherly teasing- although it probably would have helped if I'd read Shiver first. However, I was too impatient to wait! xx

Awww, yay! Great little follow up ficlet! Lovely brotherliness! Poor Gordy, having to watch Alan in the pool while not being allowed in himself, no wonder he wanted to throw stuff at him! And I loved his goblin comment, hehehe!

Oh, Scotty, watching the security tapes? What a way to find out. At least Virgy and Jeff were there to talk to him, and Scott wanting Virgil to hit him was so Scott-like and Virg not hitting him was so Virgil-like... (I dunno if that sentence will actually make sense outside of my head, it's past midnight but I had to read this before I went to bed!)

Oh not not the medic look, I know that one well hee hee. Back on top form as always honey. hee hee love the fact that John had to sit on Scott. "It was the Goblins." my fave line in this, almost knocked me off my chair. Poor Scotty but at least he knows now and I knew Virge wouldn't hit him.

I love the brotherly interaction in your stories. Had to laugh at Alan trapped in the pool – that boy’s not so bright, is he? Virgil thanks you for letting him stick needles in Scott, by the way – you know how happy that makes him! Love the way he insisted that ordinary medicine just wouldn’t be as effective as an injection...

There were some lovely links with your other stories too – brought back memories of cute baby Virg and little Johnny – bless ‘em.

The change of tone worked well – Scott suddenly confronted with the reality of what happened – and not just hearing about it but actually seeing it. No wonder he felt bad. He should have known Virgil wouldn’t hit him though – not when there are needles ready and waiting! A lovely ending to another great story.

And thank you again for all the chapters of the new story you’ve been sending – they’ve been the highlight of some pretty stressful days this week. Lucky FF readers – you’ve got some great reading ahead of you!

Aww Poor Gordon was stuck watching Alan and not getting to work off any boredom and/or frustration. Oh those Tracy boys do disappear when they shouldn't. But really, Virg? He was right there the whole time and you didn't even notice. hee hee

Absolutely loved the ending as it was perfect and a sign that things were getting back to normal. Loved it more that Scott tried to hide behind John. And his parting comment to Virgil was hilarious.
