I absolutely love where you went with this story. It fleshed out the characters really well and brought more dimension to Zuko. Kudos to you for an excellent and well-written story.

Very well written, and a topic that fits in perfectly with canon. I could honestly see this scene as part of the series. Very nicely done, I tip my hat to you. Keep writing, you have considerable skill.

The Melon Lord Approves chapter 4 . 10/14/2012
Your A/N makes me want to hug you. Just FYI.

And let's face it... we all know Avatar isn't REALLY a kids' show. Oh, they dress it down a little, keep it clean and all safe for the littlies, but I've seen enough kids' shows and enough true epics to know the difference. Avatar is a fully-realized legend wearing the clothes of a child's fairytale.
The Melon Lord Approves chapter 3 . 10/14/2012
AHHHH! IT IS TOO FANTASTIC!

Seriously, I'm in over my head with the amazingness of THIS. This is how I imagine all the off-screen stuff probably went, because let's face it, there's only so much you can cram into a half-hour episode and long intense heart-to-hearts between the Avatar and the cast-off son of the Firelord definitely don't fall into that category (even if we wish they did because Aang and Zuko's friendship was one of the most awesome parts of the final season).
The Melon Lord Approves chapter 2 . 10/14/2012
Your grasp of these characters is absolutely profound, and I think for an ATLA fanfic writer, that's probably the most important trait to have (well, besides your impeccable grammar and wonderfully complex sentence structure, unfortunately rare in this fandom). After all, what we all love about ATLA isn't really the story (although that is pretty kick-ass), it's the characters. They're the heart and soul of the show (as it should be), and you've captured that so well here. Also well-done is the post-Zuko dynamics within the Gaang. The Aang/Zuko bromance in particular is showing so beautifully here and I love it to bits.
Nicole chapter 4 . 8/9/2012
So, this account doesn't seem to be active anymore (and the review is admittedly late), but I'd still like to tell you that this story was really good. It filled in a lot of plot holes that have been nagging at me for some time now, as well as gave me some new perspectives on these pairings. The Zuko and Aang interaction here was spot on-it made me so happy to know Aang finally had someone to talk to. Both of them don't have much family, and that, with their bonding, is what makes their friendship so great.

Your story is awesome, with impeccable grammar and great word choice. The plot and characterizations ring true. I've read your other Kataang fic as well. Maybe you've abandoned this account or this fandom, but this is one person saying they'd love it if you came back.

Keep writing,
Nicole
BruisedReed chapter 4 . 2/22/2012
Thank you, thank you thank you for a beautiful piece. It beautifully filled in the gaps left by the show. The dialog was perfect and the setting of Sokka telling a story with Suki was just a master stroke. Please keep writing!
