Fantastic story! You captured the characters well. I love that you quoted Wonderwall. I love that song, and have actually thought that it really fit Caroline and Tyler while listening to it. One tidbit -I think the song belongs to the band Oasis (they did it sometime around '97 I think, and its *awesome*). I think Ryan Adams may have done a cover of it. I'll definitely have to check that cover out!

I 'loved' this. I reread it through a few times, especially from where she bit him on to the end. Very good. This mature caring Tyler that we finally got on the show and that you have here-the one left Mystic Falls and Caroline on the show- is the one that I wish we had on the show, and with Caroline. Good thing on the AU fics as mentioned. GREAT thing. I'd love to see you write something about them coming together after all the lies have come out. Caroline lied to protect him, risking both of their lives by even telling him anything at all, and I'd love to see a fic where he figures that out, cares for HER in return, and stays. Matt to me isn't better as he loved Elena throughout most of his relationship with Caroline and made Caroline feel inadequate even more. Tyler is better for her, and she for him for that matter.

Loved his coming to at the end and actually 'explaining' his mini freakout and having that realization of what she did for him and being so willing to be there in return for her. Loved it. Really hope that you do some more Caroline/Tyler stories of any kind as we need those happy endings. Really enjoyed this.

If Tyler doesn't come back, I'm going to go down to Atlanta and pull a Damon on the producers.

Anyway, I very much liked this fic. It explained certain scenes in the TV show in a different way, and gave me a happier ending than we have right now.

Nice fanfiction. I love the couple, but hated how they shared one kiss before things went wrong and that was the end of them. So sad.
