Not too strange or hard to follow - this was sheer brilliance! It's so wonderfully in tune with the mood of the Golden Age, I could just see all of this unfolding. Brilliant job with finding lovely comparisons to heavenly bodies for each of their smiles, you chose the perfect analogies for them. Just spectacular, simply spectacular. This is the kind of story I go back to for a reread, many of them!
