Girl where the crap do you live? Syria? Venezuela? Even though there are a lot homophobic people in the United States, multiple officers are not just going to get away with gay bashing somebody, especially if said person was a minor. In our society you couldn't even look at somebody in the wrong way without getting accused of being a racist or a biggot. Besides, say this actually did happen, even though it isn't very plausible, a couple of local police officers would be nothing in comparison to the amounts of levels and higher ups there are in law enforcement. He could've gone to their captain, make a supreme court case, whatever but, unless this is a lifetime movie, no just no. This isn't me trying to be negative at all, even though at this moment it probably seems like I'm a very cynical person which isn't entirely false but, I mean well. Other than this, I actually really loved the story and thought it was so amazing to come across a story like this since, I haven't ready anything like this before. However, when I read about the gay bashing I just couldn't help but, say something anyways... thanks for the rant.
