I like this a lot, especially his internal thoughts. Love Murdock of course, he was always my favorite character years ago when A-Team was first aired! This was funny and sweet.

Great scene, quite nostalgic, though. Poor Murdock, I don't know how he manages to concentrate on his date with so much going on in his head.

The umbrella was a nice touch, and I love the reference to Robert Culp.

Although I'm not on the race for Mr. Right anymore, I wouldn't mind to spend a nice evening with Murdock. ;P

Very nice! I always say that kind of thing, but it's true! You did a great job with the characters and I absolutely love the Beatles reference! Great job... it brought out the perfect emotion in the story, and I loved the ending. There is a little hope at the end, which I love.

You almost made ME homesick for L.A., though it hasn't been the L.A. I grew up in for some time now. Still my hometown, though, so I kinda know how Murdock feels.

Definitely, only a bout of homesickness and feeling isolated could make anyone remember Vietnam with any sense of nostalgia.
