Reviews for Full House
Guest chapter 4 . 1/15/2019
Guest chapter 1 . 1/15/2019

I really really love this and although I know it's been years since you've updated anything, I still want to say that I would LOVE to see a sequel to this. I would die if it was a long epic about their second chance, but even a oneshot covering this next reunion would be awesome. Their constant separations and reunions are heartbreaking and I would love to see one last one, where they finally greet each other as lovers and allies before taking on the world yet again.
Anyway... thanks for writing this. It's really lovely and heartbreaking, while also having a beautiful glimmer of hope (which is really rare in a CG fanfic). Gonna go read a bunch of your other stories too
Ikol Ichigorath chapter 4 . 3/9/2015
Should totally follow onto this in one years time (story wise), perhaps with the title 'Joker's', Two to a deck and the number of people required to change it all?
Perhaps liken it to black jack where if your first deal is two jokers then you can split to have two hands of value 21 thus winning the game with two cards?

I don't know, just a suggestion, as I really liked the card theme that you kept alive throughout the whole narrative.

I'm not usually a fan of Suzaku and Lelouch pairings when done in sexual context, perhaps some emotional love but more as brothers than anything as that was how they saw each other in the canon story. This, however, was done in such a manner that it was not the focus but still key, in a more psychological manner. It made for an interesting read that inspired thought more than anything.

The idea of Suzaku turning to refrain was also handled masterfully, I've seen some fics that have attempted to incorporate it and horribly mangled it into some genie potion that is hardly realistic or positively contributional to the read.

So, in conclusion, This is a masterfully created work of fiction that incorporates a great deal of emotional and psychological grief whilst tying well into the canon's sequence of events. I most profoundly congratulate you on a brilliant piece of literature.
Flayne chapter 4 . 8/6/2013
Wow. You seriously had pulled me in with this 'experiment' of yours. Even if you've got nothing planned, a whole world of possibility lies ahead after reading your fic. I really like that the end is just the beginning of something grand. (though Lelouch and Suzaku were already greater than life in 'Full House') The thing with Refrain is, we can totally see Suzaku becoming an addict - the tears at the end of R2 gave him away. And I'm glad that your Lelouch is simply...Lelouch. Though I still have to come to terms with him living all alone for so long (C.C. does not count XP) What else did he do everyday (except becoming a superb cook) ? But the scenery, they totally got me. I guess I would also want to live like that if I were in his place. :)

Thank you so much for writing this. I look forward to read more of your works.

Greetings, flayne

PS: I was really happy to see 'Aachen' appearing in this work even if only as a historical reference, because I've lived there for a long long time. :) That was a extra treat for me. Hehe
Flayne chapter 3 . 8/6/2013
You're killing me. Please let the last chapter have a good ending. One could actually allow a third season with your beginning. Lelouch should do politics once again. With Suzaku on his side. :)
Princess of Love and Hate chapter 4 . 7/16/2013
So, I really love every single one of your fics. Just out of curiosity, have you ever considered making a sequel to this? Because that would be the best thing ever.

adlfjaldskfjlaksdf. I LOVE THIS STORY... sorry imma dumb. do you mind explaining to me the last part?
ucco chapter 3 . 3/30/2013
Oh, and I appreciate the fact that you left the fic with an open ending. Although it was heavily implied that Lelouch will immerse himself once more in civilization and all its troubles – in whichever way he wants to handle it – I love how it simply ended with a promise of second chances and meeting again. The house on the prairie was as much a symbol of mending relationships and a quiet place to reconcile away from everything as it was not. I felt that Lelouch and Suzaku's relationship far transcends the concept of holding and centralizing it on one place, and in a specific time. This was conveyed much to me, although I don't know if you actually intended for that to happen, haha.

The precipice of hope leaves me wanting for more. ;)
ucco chapter 4 . 3/30/2013
I believe this fic deserves more reviews than it has now. I mean – simply marvelous. Except it's not really simple, and you made me tear up a bit (but just a little bit) in parts too many to count. It was warm, sluggish but inversely filled to the brim with emotions and unspoken things; bright (in a roundabout way that I don't even understand), nostalgic... sort of like a bittersweet vignette that's long and full of words. I love how you expounded on the cards – your comparisons were authentically parallel to the cg verse, and they were heart-wrenching, every little story, lined up with canon!cg.

I commend you on moderating and limiting their dialogues. With less times that Suzaku and Lelouch speak, their spoken words actually become stronger and more compact; more meaningful. There was more behind every single one; more implications that impacted me more than I could elaborate upon. I literally don't know what to say, except: keep doing what you do. It's inspiring.

There was a great dose of angst, underlying every word, but it was lovely. Beautiful read.

P.S. I spot a Filipino dish right there. Or am I wrong? Haha.
black.k.kat chapter 4 . 2/12/2013
This is weird and beautiful and strange, in a haunting, twisting, lovely sort of way. The writing is poetic, the characters are carefully portrayed (never perfect, heartbreakingly flawed, and full of contradictions - so wonderful), and the story itself has an eerie sense of plausability to it.

Amazing. I bow to you, great one.
FeliLud chapter 4 . 12/31/2012
This is really awesome! So nice and vivid, and they are really in character.
I'm sure Suzaku can get over the side effect of Refrain, he has an iron will just like Lelouch, there should be no problem for him to rid the illusion since now he nows Lelouch is alive.
Together, they are formidable and nothing can stop them at all.
Love this fic! Please write more awesome fics in the future!
ItStartsWithZ chapter 4 . 10/2/2012
Amazing.
fantacination chapter 4 . 6/21/2012
Please please tell me that Lelouch wasn't lying about seeing Suzaku again in the next year and that they /will/ get their happy ending. ;; I know the pairing is made for it, but gosh the angst is so depressing.

As always, lovely writing, though I hate how it always leaves me wanting more. .
