I actually liked the second chapter better than the first. Of course, that's not to say I didn't like the first. I quite enjoyed it. Your writing was very poetic. The second chapter had a very defined feel to it that I like.

Ah! So beautiful! Great job describing the progress of Ahiru's feelings. We can't just ignore Ahiru's love for Mytho; after all, it was real, and she really had felt that way. It was sweet and beautiful. :D But her love didn't diminish, it just changed form... just like you said. I love this statement: "(Some days she wondered which love she would prefer... this way everyone is happy and the only serves to compound her joy.)" An excellent and all too true way to describe Duck. She and Fakir are so wonderful together!

How perfect the end thought is, that Mytho never saw beyond the perfect prima dona while Fakir knew the real girl who wore the pendant. This is beautiful, the whole of it from beginning to end! I love it!
