This was one of the first FanFiction stories I ever read and I can’t believe I didn’t review it then! It’s been one of my top stories and has stuck with me ever since. So beautifully told, love how you captured their emotions throughout and kept us guessing until the end. Love it!

I know it has been more than eight years since this was completed, but you should know that I have read this no less than four times. Each time it makes me smile, causes me to laugh, and forces me to tear up. While this is true for many reasons, this story became one of my all time favorites the minute that Sam and Jack visited the present and could still see the lingering effects of their visit amongst the people of the past.

I should have told you this long ago, but thank you very much for taking the time to gift us with this tale!

What a great read, it was the right about of everything, a roller coaster of emotions, I really liked the happy moments that Jack and Sam had and also enjoyed their friendship with the tribe, bittersweet they were gone when they went to see them but also happy they thrived into a big civilization.
I'm 7 years late but I would love a follow up hahaha, great stuff.

Actually in portuguese "pig" is "porco" (not that different from 'proku'), so I guess the idiom those cavemen were talking was the great-grandfather of portuguese :)

This was excellent. I really loved every thing about this story best sam and jack story i have ever read. The story line was i believe accurate towards the series and to the airforce and to both Oniel and Carters personalities. I just love how they were able to work together still after they had gone against regulations.
