I just finished my...third? fifth?... read of SoR, and I can never make it through the damn deaths at the end without sobbing. Mye, you brought these people to LIFE for me...and yes. They have all gotten me through some hard times, changed the way I look at the world. I can't imagine my life without your work having a place in it, it touches me that deeply. Thank you for SoR, and for Edda-Earth. You'd better believe I'm reading that too! SoR will always have a special place in my heart, though, because of the special people who make the story what it is.

That said, I don't know if Joker's body could handle the G-Forces involved in flying an actual jet. Also, those older models do use feet controls as well as hand controls. So yeah, I don't know if that fits very well with his sickness.

And so, after a year and a half I've finished this... masterpiece. At first people discouraged me from reading this, stating that fanfics are just sexual fantasies based on some game or a movie. This isn't, it's much more than that.

I find this story a perfect balance between action, story, emotions, ... well.. sex... and much useful and logical technical and biological information (that I use in ME roleplaying from now on to make it more real and interesting). I absolutely damned loved every bit of this, every chapter, every word. I felt emotions for a... fictional character, for a mere thought, the likes of which I never even experienced before. It made me laugh and cry, it indeed felt... very real.
I can not wrap my head around why people don't know this gem.

I'm sure a review this late will elicit a chuckle (if you're still getting email notifications), but I figured I'd leave one anyway.

To date, the only work of fiction I've encountered with an ending that evokes the same sense of bittersweet loss I encountered long ago at the end of Return of the King. There are flaws, of course, but when I set out to marathon this out of a desire to see how quickly I could complete it, I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. I generally end up gritting though sections of long works simply because they feel like filler. You managed to continually reinvent the story before that ever happened.

A job well done, and best of luck on your future endeavors.

Ah, this has to be one of, if not the best story I have read FFnet.

The character growth was amazing, seeing how Dara and Rel, changed and how Dara ended up with Eli.

Going back and playing Mass Effect just is not the same without these characters or the superb additions to the universe itself.

Right now I'm at chapter 62 and every time I feel like I'm tired of your story and want to go back and read some of my favourite previous chapters you go and god damnit reel me back in. Congratulations on a story that is very interesting and that the least interesting oc is still rating an 8.5 out of 10 in my opinion (Eli) . I've read this story now 3 times since I found it a long while back. And everytime, the end brings me to tears. This is, honestly, the best story I've ever read, or seen. I love all of the characters and detail so much that it really FEELS like you're living alongside all the characters. Thank you for writing this, and I look forward to reading it many more times as the years pass.

I... honestly don't know how I should say this. This story manages to simply be better than just about everything I've ever read.
I believe that the purpose of any writing or art, is to provoke emotions, to make them connect to the characters, to the universe, as much as possible. And my god, did this one fulfill its purpose, above and beyond what I expected.
So thank you, for the rollercoaster of emotions this story created.
