So, I decided to read this and I'm enjoying it thus far. I especially like the way you've written Owen where you've emphasized how he can turn off the charm in contrast to the abusive treatment. I do wish you fleshed out his history a little bit more, or at least the history of him and Akari dating. Harvest Moon characters don't have a whole lot of depth, so you can reasonably make anybody an antagonist, but I think it works better if we have more insight into what contributed to their fall.

I am curious to see how the mystery turns out. I think I know the "who". Just not the "how" and "why". Keep it up!

Oh my gosh. I absolutely love everything about this story. As sad as it is, domestic violence awareness is a cause that resonates very very strongly with me. I even joined a sorority whose primary philanthropy is domestic violence awareness, education, and prevention. This story is incredibly written and it is so brace of you to take on such a heavy topic that not may people will talk about. You write about it in such an elegant manner, but it's still so informative to anyone who hasn't experienced it before. Please please keep it up. Im so anxiously awaiting to see how this will end. You are amazing!
