OMG this is so true! Not so much that it’s unknown but that people that live in NYC have usually never been near let alone IN a Walmart! I literally had to take a friend on a trip to Walmart hen they came to visit me from NYC. I was so shocked to hear that she’d never been in one before because she never had reason to leave the city. It might be different now but at least 14 years ago it no Walmarts in NYC.

Going back through your ‘On a...’ series. They rank amongst my very favorites and I can’t seem to read one without reading the other two. Would love to see more of them if inspiration ever strikes.

Ugh having Miranda experience what my childhood was like in the Fucking boonies of Ohio is great. And this was a great story. I really like that it wasn't tied up neatly like a bow at the end, butt there was just an understanding that they'd make it work somehow with the distance.
