This is excellent. It's also heart wrenching. I thought your portrayal of all the regenerations was spot on. I think five made me the saddest.

So, I usually read your super-special-awesome story 'It Takes A Village.' Out of curiosity I checked your account for the fanart, and saw your list of other stories. While I'm a fan of Doctor Who the other stories didn't quite appeal to me, however the idea of a character analysis of the Doctor was very interesting.

I especially like how the focus was on the Doctor's habit of hiding his true self from everyone he meets. I can't say much about any of the Doctor's before Nine, but it was still interesting reading them. On Nine, Ten, and Eleven, however, I can actually comment on those, because I know those Doctors.

Nine's separation of knowing and understanding speaks a lot about how he feels about the Time War. He wants someone to understand, not someone to pity him.

Ten fits his character well. Him rambling on, trying to distract himself and others with his crazy words, but he knows in the end that he's see through.

Eleven is on the mark, also. He doesn't want to be the dangerous alien, he wants to be the cheery guy that romps around the universe with his friends.

Overall, I'm glad I decided to check our your account, it lead me to this.

This makes me want to watch Classic Series so much. I'm so worried, sometimes, that the Doctor won't be the Doctor that far back, but if this is in-character then I'm just being silly.
