Also, I have sudden images of wizards and witches - all of them - tirelessly using the Aquamenti charm(they'd fail to do anything significant, of course. The ocean is vast, the person is small, etc...It'd take years to even notably unsaturate the Dead Sea.)

Telling the story of himself...I don't know. It seems like a weak point to me. Yet I cannot put my finger on what else.

Beautiful. Very well sculpted imagery. Through the middle I thought that more should have been said between the two, but when I reached the end I knew it was just right.

Aside from Sesc's masterpiece this is my favourite of the stories submitted to DLP's January contest. There's a sort of brilliant, elegant simplicity to the writing, tied up with a really clever premise and a very interesting link to canon.
