This is just beautiful! I really enjoyed the first-person narrative, it worked really well. I just loved how Lee hesitated, wondering if the ring was a good idea or not, and how he finally decided that it was a good idea, only to wonder about it after having bought it! Very believable. I look forward to more stories from you.
