Just a small mention - the author got the dates wrong, 2185 is written in imperial as 185M3, since it's indeed part of the third millenium since the founding of Imperial Rome.

Either these are the most heretical marines in existence, or you know nothing about Warhammer 40K.

Seems this story has more problems than issues with wording. What was the point of making this a Mass Effect crossover if Shepard is not involved and dies in the background? In fact, what was the point of having this take place in Mass Effect 2, after Shepard was revived, if this is how you are going to play out events. You might as well have had this take place in the time period between Shepard's death and his revival, or at any other point of time before ME2.

Unless all you wanted was a cheap shock factor at Commander Shepard being dead, I find no point in much of this. Maybe you revive Shepard again later on? Idk, but either way I've kind of lost interest in reading further. Which is a pity, really - this story had an interesting premise and managed to be completed. Oh well. Your execution of the material has been found lacking.

"Magazine". Not "clip"; it's a "magazine". A clip is what an M1 Garand (US WW2 rifle) would use. A magazine is what modern rifles such AR-15s and Kalashnikovs use. They are two very different things.

Please find the time to go back to this story and fix the error. It's existence offends me.

Hmmm. There is to much acceptance in this story, as well as eather skiping or just outright not inputing needed dialogs between the M. E. cast and the astartes.

Space Marines are pretty much invincible to ME tech level. The fact that this didn't have all battles be curb stomp is eh.

I agree with guest space marines would completly destroy the mass effext universe

ill be honest, you have completely failed to understand the differences between space marines and the mass effect universe. every battle would be an utter curb stomp for the space marines, mass effect military technology is vastly inferior to warhammer 40k in just about every way possible, yet you have kept this story so close to canon that the crossover makes no impact on the overall story at all.
