You are such an amazing writer! This concept is tersely and beautifully illustrated!

This is one of my favorites. You do poignant so well. And part of my admiration for this drabble may spring from my own depth of feeling around touching, even just a hand on a shoulder that's not doing anything. I crave it and cherish it, but cannot touch casually as it would be devoid of all the closeness, as you beautifully convey - a touch is not an idle thing in my world and I have few opportunities for general touching, let alone the most special.

That was so sad. I really loved this story!

Again, great tone - it's solidly somber and consistently calm, from start to finish. And… yeah, actually - rewatching the series, there really is no skin-to-skin contact between them, is there? The only moment I can think is when Suzaku grabs Lelouch in season one to stop him from falling off the roof during the cat chase - and even then, it's closely averted, with Suzaku grabbing Lelouch by the elbow, not hand. I hadn't noticed that until now.

I agree with the previous reviewers, short but creates such a vivid image! This truly reflects the events of CG. However, that's what makes it sad too... Which is why I like to read (light-)AU stories with suzaxlulu or roloxlulu :) Anyway, amazing how you knew to capture the essence of their interactions in this fic!

I foresee a pattern of me tagging all of your CG fics under my favourite's list. The emotion contained within a few words in this fic tugged on my heart strings more than I'd like to admit. Especially the last line. I blame you for this. [I'm not crying though, lol.]

A unique and interesting observation, woven from the very beginning to the very end of their relationship. Thick with emotion, this story gives a more insightful look into the final scene of Code Geass. You capture the melancholic yet beautiful meaning within such few words, truly the work of an outstanding author.

Still not sure how you managed to make me tear up in so few words, lovely writing.

Holy shit! That was...wow. I mean, it was really, REALLY short, but it was so good! I could really feel how much Suzaku had wanted to touch Lelouch, had wanted to hug him, and pat him on the back, and maybe even kiss him. But he never had, and so the last thing...Wow. That was...that was an amazing interpretation, and a truly wonderful fic. Wonderful job, Elari-san.
