This is a cool & compelling concept. It give Narcissa & Draco wonderful character development as a family. 'course, Lucius is a bit of a zealot & wouldn't go for it. Either way, I like it!

This is deep and powerful; the words strong without being over-long or flashily complicated. The details were just enough. The emotions so strong and with such a ring of truth, I could feel them myself.

Also, let me give you this compliment: I've never understood how the Malfoys were let off the hook so easily in canon, because their story wasn't told; this fic reconciles me the epilogue and even makes me feel the sacrifices made by Narcissa and Draco both. It fleshes them out, makes them more real, and even makes me care for them a little. Well done.
