I like how you tweet the fidelius charm to explain why Dumbledore wouldn't know who was The Secret Keeper. In the books, there was no way that Dumbledore didn't know that Sirius was innocent, and it always bothered me.

Loving this story. I'm not much of a writer unfortunately, so most of my reviews are thanks for writing and encouragement to finish. I read this through the hospital wing visit. Generally when you undo or fix hardship of the main character in some fashion, it may make things less interesting in your AU. I thought perhaps she might end up in Slytherin, due to the snake, but apparently not. I glanced at the reviews and it seems you go through year 2, but pack some more stuff in. This might be worth another look later, but I think I'll pass for now.

There are no grounds in law for negligence on the part of the Potters, and thereby no cause for questioning their custody, unless the Minister wishes to establish precedent to seize any and every child heir of any or every noble Wizarding family, a privilege I cannot see the Wizengamot allowing under any circumstances whatsoever as it would allow effective line theft. This sort of breaks down entirely at this point (not that any depiction of legal proceedings in the HP universe ever bear resemblance to any sort of reality).
