I must say with all sincerity, fanfictions of D. Gray Man have never been my cup of tea. Never.
I have a very special affection for a lot of characters, and as a matter of fact this series has been the first and last physical manga that I have read in my whole life. You know, I kept reading from the end to the beginning at least 3 of the volumes until I got used to reading them "upside down". Quite an experience.

I tried a couple of times read works of fiction based on this fandom... After a few chapters I was unable to continue without the need to bang my head against a
wall.
Repeatedly.
I must say that after all these years without following the series, I do not know how it ends or if it ends -so bad I am-, I have forgotten too much.

Anyway, I could not miss the opportunity to congratulate your hard work and tell you that I admire your perseverance to continue with it through all these years.
I have seen the gradual change in your writing style throughout these 46 chapters and you can certainly be proud that you have evolved as a writer!
I love every aspect of this story? The answer, which even continues to surprise me is that absolutely.

Anyway, I should go to sleep at least a little. But
before that...
I can not go without saying that I admire you from the bottom of my heart! I am so happy to have stumbled upon this story!

Oh yay it's an update! It's been quite some time (for me at least) so I had to re-read the story again, and I can't help but notice some inconsistencies(?)
At the beginning it's mentioned that Juuri/Jirainne's mom was of Asian while the dad (not husband) was French? So I was kinda confused at the surname 'de Sabellis'? Kind of expecting a more Asian surname but OK it might be my stereotyping...
But somewhere in the beginning it was mentioned that the parents left her with the husband's mother for some job overseas? Tying in with latest chapters, wasn't it mentioned that the mother is from this rich old money family which she'll inherit seeing as how she's the heiress? Hence it didn't really make much sense to me that the parents would leave the child behind for a job when they're supposedly filthy rich?
If I've missed some of your explanations at the end of the chapters then yea it's my fault for not reading those too? Guilty hahaha
Also, I've noticed like a weird thing about pronouns...Like you tend to switch them even tho it's a guy talking the pronoun becomes her or vice versa? And there's a chapter of you? Maybe forgot about that chapter while editing?

I do love how the love story between Kanda and Juuri/Jirainne is going tho, the interactions between then never fail to crack me up (especially the one about his constipated face HAHAHA) and I feel that the pace is quite good, but I hope Kanda will quickly figure out his feelings! I just want them both to confess and give the confused human-in-denial a lil loveeee ;)
Also hope that Kanda will notice that it's not Juuri/Jirainne but Apocryphos. But it seems like Lavi will have a role...maybe he's the Knight Monolch was referring to? And Kanda's the King cuz Juuri/Jirainne will be Queen? XD
Anyways, I'm glad to see you updating and I hope that the next chapter will bring more answers!
