Nice fic, but i agree with kyouruhi24 said, izaya dating shizuo because he was broken heart and lonely, and shizuo only for replacement of shiki. Kinda wish this is longer so we could see more development of izaya's feeling towards shizuo, like getting jealous maybe. Still nice fic, tho.

It seems that the way Shizuo and Izaya get along in your story is quite different from all the other Shizaya fanfics I have ever read XD. I fell that they become more compatible here. Even some parts where angst appears seem to be a bit gentler than the usual type. And after reading many Shizaya fanfics with angst, I feel that your stories are like a kind of relief XD, especially this one, making me see another possible mode of Shizaya, kind of...sweet? Also, most of your stories have been finished, it is not an easy thing for writers to finish their stories, especially the long ones... Thank you anyway!

hmm... i have mixed feelings with this fic... i really pity shizuo.. it felt like izaya was just being with him to fill out the void left by shiki.. you know, just trying it out with shizuo because as he stated in the first chapter, he cannot live / survive alone without a lover.. pitiful shizuo... it would have felt right if izaya turned him down first.. that way, we'll surely know that izaya was not acting based on instinct (being really needy after a break-up e.g. accepting any person's offer of love/ intimacy or people's tendency to indulge in one night stands after a terrible break-up)

it really appears to me that izaya is getting into a relationship just for the heck of it and of course, to not be alone... i've seen relationships like this with my friends and they ended very fast. after the neediness was satiated, the passion cooled down and the connection got broken on its own..

this might be weird, but this fic brought me pain and bitter tears.. (and this was supposed to be fluff! XD haha)
