I told you I'd review your stories once I got on my laptop. *nods head*

This was one of the first D/A stories I've read and (as is the case with all your stories), I fell in love with it. To be precise, I fell in love with your characterization of Astoria.

In the canon world, Slytherins are infamous for always being the nastiest of the lot; however, Astoria in your story provided an antithesis to that generalization. It's strange for me to say but during the scene where the Slytherins were celebrating their victory over Ravenclaw, and other scenes as well, I just felt that, amidst other Slytherins, Astoria gave off this warm...glow. I could envision her walking into the dank and dark common room and just lighting up the place with her brilliance and girlish innocence (unlike Daphne who gives off an aura of being a banshee).

And even though Daphne is described as being superior to Astoria in looks, ultimately it is Astoria's personality (at least for me) that allows her to blossom and bypass Daphne in beauty. Daphne is an empty shell while Astoria has a SOUL. And that is what makes her so attractive to Draco; he feels an affinity to her because he can feel her humanity whereas everyone else to him are nothing more than puppets.

LOL sorry, it seems like I'm trying to tell you what your own story is about. -_-

And this is just a guess on my part, but did Malfoy fail to acknowledge that he had kissed her when she was 10 because he didn't want to look a fool in front of the others? And then, as he grew older, he matured and, finally in the conclusion, realized her importance to him?

Ahhh, Kim, your stories make me feel so warm and giddy whenever I read them. After a long day at work, I just come home and peruse through your story list to see if you've written anything new. AND THERE HAVE BEEN NEW ADDITIONS. Onto the next one! :D

awwww, it was so cute! what i especially liked about this fic was how you actually ACKNOWLEDGED canon events (i just read a couple other frustrating fics .) and still kept the arrogant, prick-ish, SLYTHERIN Draco intact while building more on his character and giving him depth, and cuteness (heh). Very nice job!
