This is heartbreaking, really. But positive heart-breaking, melancholic but still hopeful in the end. I felt sad but content because this is really good and makes sense. Though you've been really hard on Harry here, poor Harry. ;) 'H/R shipper' me didn't like it, but 'Ruth/someone else because she deserves to be happy shipper' did. Hope that makes sense...

I do think it could happen though, if Ruth gets tired of all this... I hope I'm wrong but I think they could choose to make it end this way. Which makes this even sadder...

I'm glad you suggested that Ruth might be Happy with Mikael. You worked on the Ruth/Lucas relationship in every fic I've read from you; needless to say I love it, I think most fanfic writers don't linger enough on it, and the way you do it is just the way I see it, so it's perfect to me.

Absolutely heartbreaking but written beautifully. It's a very realistic possibility and, although not one we would want to see happening, we have to face the fact that it might. I love how you incorporated some flashbacks to Cyprus into the story. Just beautiful!
