GeorgeTobor chapter 6 . 3/21/2015 Oh sure! It has to be Willow who goes dark! Not Giles, Xander, or Buffy! The elves are OLD! Knowledgeable and experienced, they should have sensed that ring! You took the same path Joss the JERK did. This is fanfiction and I was hoping you would do better! The Coven Willow studied with should have sensed the resouling spell, and the resurrection too! Joss We love to Jerk around just really treated his women bad! Fanfics should do better! Bye! |
Taeniaea chapter 14 . 2/21/2008 Great Story! |
Arkeus chapter 7 . 11/8/2007 Ouch. I have a really bad feeling about hwat side willow will be one in the final battle :/ Really, really hoping i am wrong. |
Arkeus chapter 6 . 11/8/2007 Mh. Interesting how differently the ring affect willow than the dark magicks did. With the dark magicks, she was always motivated by her relationship to others- it was a key element. Here, it is her relationship to the ring, and she is twisting things around quite dramatically :/ Damn. I hope she gets better Y_y |
Arkeus chapter 4 . 11/8/2007 Shudder at Willow's attitude, eerily reminiscent of season 6. Bad, indeed. I do hope she gets better with a little bit of help from Elron. :-) |
Arkeus chapter 3 . 11/8/2007 A Ring? Oh No...Damn, this is bad, really is Willow's main fault, her lack of confidence in herself and want to be someone else Y_y Great work. |
Arkeus chapter 2 . 11/8/2007 nice to see the scoobs are not the big bad around, though i don't think they are so weak compared to orcs. Hope they mature, though. |
Arkeus chapter 1 . 11/8/2007 Wow...Very, very good beginning. I really like the awkward scoobies, and i can't help but want to see how they grow up :-) Hopefully this willow will have a mentor in magic and won't do too many mistakes :D |
Celebwen Telcontar chapter 2 . 6/20/2006 Please continue. |
Tindomiel chapter 12 . 3/10/2006 While your knowledge of Arda is generally impressive, there are a few uncanonical inaccuracies. The one that bugged me most is in this chapter. Elves go to the halls of Mandos after death to repent their sins and await judgement and rebirth, but mortals and mankind do not. Their fate is severed from the Eldar, and they travel beyond the circles of the world into dark mystery etc. therefore Elenya's (did you know that the word meant 'Monday' when you chose it as a name?) declaration to Giles 'Look for me in the Halls of Mandos' does not make sense. She is not exactly unversed in the ways of the world or elves either. |
P.H. Wise chapter 6 . 8/12/2004 It seems like Willow really falls to the influence of her ring WAY too quickly. This isn't the One Ring, and even that takes a while to work its mojo. Frodo carried the One Ring for somewhere in the range of twenty years, and only in the end did he finally fall to it. Sure, Hobbits have a greater resistance towards that sort of thing, but even so, it can't be THAT much greater. Willow's had her ring for what, a few weeks? A month at most? And already she's totally alienated from her friends because of it? Aside from that - I do like your story. Well told and highly enjoyable. |
Acacia Jules chapter 8 . 6/7/2004 Um, question, did you just write this statement for JEWISH/Wiccan Willow Rosenberg . . . '... what sort of people Buffy, Giles and Xander really were; jealous, envious and conniving back-stabbers - a bunch of plotting Judases.' Umm, I'm not the only one who sees the error in that sentence, right? That JEWISH raised Willow would think such a thing, that not even most CHIRSTIANS would come up with? (Seriously, they wouldn't, only the most devout would come up with such a statement . . .) But I just had to point that out. It was just too wrong. The rest of the story is great though. I love seeing how the ring is effecting Willow! It's just so much fun. |
nycscribe46 chapter 1 . 12/28/2003 This is fun... [inner purist] But Buffy & Co. don't speak Westron! And what happened to the creature they were hunting? And- *kicks inner purist in the shins* I think I'll just enjoy the zanyness of the story-for now. More reviews later, after I see where this is going. Jay |
Kyra2 chapter 14 . 7/26/2003 Must find the next story...hope you've written it. *goes to look* |
Syvia chapter 1 . 3/14/2003 Oh my goodness. _ This fic seems curiously unnoticed for such a high-quality piece. That does it! This is going on my favorite stories list so I don't lose track of 'ya. :-D And I'll review other chapters so you know I've actually *read* the story. _ |
