this is so good! however I would like to mention that astrids dragon is female and named stormfly and fishlegs' dragon is also female and named meatlug. your writing is great! I'm totally absorbed in the story, please update soon!

Don't suppose you'll be continuing this? as its been well 6years now. I'd say I'm disappointed (and yes! I am) but I was also half expecting it. Been reading fanfic for long enough now that when you don't see that 'complete' mark, 9.5 / 10times it means its not complete. *sigh*

Well anyway! Let me say that this has all the markers of an excellent Toothless and Hiccup centred story. Both have their moments and are both guilty of one thing or other at different points. Loved Toothless' pov and Hiccup's equally. Loved the near misses. The extra characters. The danger. The humour. The amnesia (poor Hiccup bet he was having visions of his panic of when they first met only this time no cove to entrap and force a dependency from the dragon to 'take notice of his visitor'), Toothless' panic over the eels was well done as was the sudden disappearance from Hiccup and his trials in trying to protect his boy from illness...so very well worded. Brought out some real feels lolx
Granted, the dragon names don't match up with the show (and maybe that's off-putted some people but that's also not anything to stress over), and of all the things the dragon could refer to his friend as; 'rider' seems very impersonal (better to just use his human or his friend or his boy or even just his Hiccup...yeh ok I've taken offence to 'rider' :P)
But overall, I very much enjoyed this one, couldn't put it down!, and would really love to see how they get out of this situation. Though apparently that village is due to being overrun at some point so maybe their sudden revelation ain't such a bad thing...oh and Hiccup's attempt to play cool with the kids (all while Toothless is 'listening' to his 'defeat' of a 'a Night Fury') for some reason is really amusing. Just LOVED every moment of this story, and will be rereading it for a while to come...even though its not likely to be updated any further...huh?

Ch 16
Ow no ! The angry mom Night Fury wants to avenge for the kids that may broke her eggs and she wants to avenge and treatening . A hidden dragon tamer who befriended with one of the deadliest knowing tricks and his friend who looks like a enemy just because he is a dragon . What a mess and crossfire .
Still I hope to happen something good not like the scrill event and it's end . Because this is the final chapter 16 and I like that story I wold like to know what happends next but do as You wish .

Ch13
Ok I hoped for the best but it happened like befour at least 3 villagers listhened . And Ellen heared and understood the potential . But one swallow doesn't make spring .
Well it happened partly befour and in other plases but still it is true .

Ch10 Well I observed mostly silently , blame my shade nature and behaviour of observingly watching safely unnoticed in the shadows .
Well this is a big mess . Will the villagers will be relived to know who saved and spotted by who . This is a shock for them but I hope to assept it .

Ch 6
I hoped for 2 Hic friends but the question is if it is possible a little food shold do it but he ate all known blueberries that he could offer to the Scrill or the Nf . Well too bad for the scrill he could be great friend very powerfull and usefull too but ... too bad . A death is still death . He was provably avenging , or thinking the humans as evil useless killing monsters or scum, desies , lesser specie or just trash as I saw in lots stories with this .
Even the evil ones may change . But there was no offering to sweeter "sorry that we shot You down , O Mighty Scrill , that we permenantly crippled you in self defence from you , I may give your flight back , please forgive us/me "like Hic would say . How would be assepted by the scrill . At least he died painlessly but still so sad too bad for that soul ! Well it is your Scrill and You decidet to ... Well for response here is my post :

Ow no !
Hic needs his dagger to at least get a slice and get the fur of it .
But he dropped his dagger in the pond because it is a weapon ... And now 2 extriemly dangerous wild dragons , his friend is with concusion and amnesia and the hostile scrill is no better even if they become friends . How he will create second tail if he befriends the scrill and repair the broken Nf protesic fin .

It's a shame this ended here. A story died, and on a cliffhanger. Now I will never have closure!

Going to speak before I read here. I like the description you have to hook people into the story, as you wanted to add suspense without spoiling conflicts, so you just simply say "Things unfold".
