I loved the idea of a story circling around the idea of Ed still missing his alchemy. While I'm sure, he never regretted it, of course there had to be moments when he still longed for something that he dedicated a great deal of his life to. While some were based on convenience - like fixing that table - I love that most of them were built around need - need to protect people and need to make Winry happy. It was perfectly in character, and I adored the ending. It was hilarious how Al instantly saw through him and knew he wanted to name his kid after him haha. It was very sweet. Well done.

That was beautiful. Amazing writing, of course, and great grasp of the characters! I thought the final scene was very, very sweet, specially with what Ed thought about doing it all over again. Of course, the best part was the note you ended it with. Amazing work!

hehehe i love this especially that last sentence it was funny and im using a run on sentence because they're horrible and make writing sound like a million times worse than it should but they annoy me so i dont know why i made this a run on sentence so yeah.

My inbox suddenly got filled with a bunch of your updates, which was amusing to watch get bigger in number. This one immediately caught my eye.

This was wonderful to wake up to, and I really loved how you captured everything. Edward surely would miss his use of alchemy ( which is a little sad to think about ), but the birth of his child is perfect to set those thoughts away from his mind. Lovely, really. Alec is a brilliant name, by the way.
