Another great chapter. As I'm reading I'm researching the terms and looking up on YouTube all of the different events, so it really is a wonderful opportunity to learn about this great sport in a great way. Now onto the critic. First of all, I find it a bit long fetched that itachi wouldn't know that Deidara doesn't like mornings. If they've been together on the team as long as it says, then he would know it. Also there was a bit of the played off reaction when Naruto saw itachi half naked. Naruto almost completely left when itachi saw him without his shirt, but when he then saw itachi, it seemed that no one cared. Also, about halfway through, when they were parking in the lot before the competition, they parkd twice :) first it said that they got there, parked and walked to the stables, but a paragraph after that it was talking about how they parked again. And there was also a slight typo, where there was "herd" instead of "heard". But besides that, another fantastic chapter!

Okay so I found one typo. It's "his body was nicer than the average riders" and right now you have "his body was nice than the average riders". But yeah, other than that, I don't think that itachi seeing Naruto half naked should have warented Naruto to consider moving out, but again I guess that can be played off as a cultural difference... Also I don't really see how Naruto is "part of the team", as he's more itachis love interest at this point. But I love how you incorporate the background into the story. It seems very fluid.

Okay, so I love all of the tension. I feel like the relationship is starting to really become more real now. And plausible. Though there are a couple of littler things that I don't completely understand. First of all, if Naruto is so into horses, and on this level of competition, how has he not seen English riding before? Like maybe it's a rising thing, but from an outside perspective I find that a bit hard to believe. Again, that might just be a plot device, but from what I see I just think it's a little far fetched that he's never seen it before. Another thing is that him not at all understanding the scoring. Like, again, is not exact ally super complicated. And I also understand the need for it in the story, it's just that narut is confusion seems again a but overexagurated. And one last thing. If Susuanno is the great granddaughter of the daughter of his first owned horse, isn't that a bit long? How old is itachi then? Even if he was like 10 when he got his first horse, and then the foal he raised was when he was 15, four generations of horses would be at least 12 years (well depending on how old the horses are when they reproduce). But these are just criticisms. Overall it was as always fabtabulous

I really like the humor in this chaper. It's well balanced. Again the romance is slightly rushed, but honestly it's more believable in this chaper than the previous. It's still very well done, and technically possible.

I love this story so much! I'm currently retreading it after a year and I'll review as I go along but just YAS. I think that the combination of info is perfect. As someone who really has no knowledge, I feel like there's enough explanation to tell me what's going on, but not too much as to take away from the story. And I'm sure there's a ton of info that I miss that people will experience enjoy. Like I'm totally lost with the dressage markers but it doesn't take away, because it's a great balance. Of course at the beginning the attraction that Naruto feels to itachi is a little abrupt and unusual but hey, it's fanfic. It would require a lot of setting up to make a more natural meeting. And it's a great start to the story. That's my only criticism so far.

That was sweet. I could just see the two of them waking up together with the sunlight filtering in through the curtains. Magnificent!

I don't know about Naruto but to me, the English seem pretty good at seduction. ;-)

I've never been into horses unless it's for the Derby. I used to live right down the street from Churchill Downs and sold brownies and other snacks. I never watched anything other than the races. I didn't even know they held these kinds of competitions in Louisville until my friend Courtney told me she was entering once. She didn't win but she told me enough to be interested. When I read this story, I was intrigued. It didn't seem so hard to me-I'm more of a rodeo girl myself. The way you wrote this made it seem not only complex but beautiful as well. I'm very interested and can't wait to read more. Thanks for the story.
