That- was awesome. Sadly... it's not cannon ( That's why ultimately I decided that when Jiraiya and Tsunade were young they had a drunken one night stand which resulted in Minato. Tsunade, being good at genjutsu even then never told anyone and gave him to the orphanage. Forward with the rest of the story.

And the nice part is that you can still have all the characters be one big happy family without disrupting cannon!

You didn't mention why they left him behind. Your saying that after abandoning him for about 12 years, they still think of him as their child.
