Poor Peter!

I'm tired of this! My heart truly breaks for Peter, yet again!

I get it. Bella's view point of the first time Peter made love to her tells a lot, but I end up angry with her. Peter has done everything he can to make sure she is happy, comfortable, and safe. He has done everything for her. Yet, he is continuously ABUSED, yes, abused by Bella emotionally and mentally. She isn't treating him any better than she was treated by her Charlie and his friends. When she informed him their coupling was rape, she just as well have beat him to near death, like some human abusers do. Abuse isn't only a physical aspect.

What she said to him, how she views their first time together, was the worst thing she could have done to the man who has done everything within his power to meet her needs at every possible turn, just hoping she would accept their bond and him. He has proven himself to her time and time again. He hasn't once forced her into anything since their first time together either.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no coming back from what she has said and done to Peter. It was like severing their mating bond, IMO. However, for this story, that isn't the case. Therefore, as it stands now, it seems Peter is forever doomed to suffer her abuse as he watches over her safety from a distance, never to have his mate as his own, his partner, his friend, his lover, his mate.

For me, Bella, the abused, has transitioned into Bella the abuser, which can and does happen with some who were abused in their youth. Because even though she was abused in a physical manner (sexually), the mental, verbal, and emotional aspects linger much longer, which is what Peter has been suffering by her actions, or non-actions.

Please don't attack me. Yes, Bella has been suffering for a very long time due to her abuse, but with Peter, she isn't innocent either because she knows where he stands with her, she knows he only wants her happiness and the best for her, she knows he will do anything for her, and she knows he will take her abuse as long as it makes her happy and gives her what she needs.

Jasper was absolutely right in stating she was manipulative.

Yeah, Peter...a very good job at explaining your feelings, wants and desires to your mate. Perhaps, she'll take your words into consideration and realize that there are two in a relationship, not one.

Happy that Peter won't be walking on eggshells and won't be taking anymore crap from Bella.

All anyone wants is to be loved.

Poor Peter...I went back and read chapter 13 and I didn't see anything to make me think that Peter did anything wrong at least she was purring and it sounded as if she was enjoying herself, well up to the point where she called out to the Major...I think that would have pissed me off, but who knows...great update hon...I can't wait to read more...thanks, huggs. This chapter made me cry such big ugly tears. I just want to hug your Bella and your Peter. Maybe that bit of yelling that they shared will be some kind of turning point. Thank goodness the moron wolves are gone though. Great chapter. Thanks for writing and sharing.

Enjoyed this story only thing I didn't really like was how annoying I found Bella to be I did love Jasper in this story though.

Great chapter! I'm kind of glad Major called her out on what she was doing. She needed it, and Major was the best candidate to do so rather than Pete since he can actually walk away from her for a bit to make his point if he had to. As her mate, it's more important for Peter to make the point that he will always be there by her side no matter what.
