Being able to take a week off and visit her partner was something she'd been attempting to do for months, so when the opportunity finally came, she jumped at it without a second's though. However, sitting in front of him now, she wasn't so sure any more. "Jethro," – she said quietly, moving her hand from his shoulder. She knew that look – she had seen it before. She wondered what triggered it this time. They sat in silence for some time before his hand found hers and entwined their fingers. "Kelly, uh, she used to love that song. Only thing that could get her to sleep." Jenny squeezed his fingers. She wanted to scream at him that she wouldn't have sang it had he told her that – had he told her anything about his first family – but she didn't. Because she knew him enough to know he will tell her in his own time, on his own terms. That knowledge, however, didn't make situations like this any easier on her. "Her sister is just the same," – she finally said looking at him, trying to decide on her next move. "Had to sing the damn song six times before she finally fell asleep." - AW!

Well, I had a good day today, then it went bad, and now you made it good again! This was so adorable, M, baby!fic at its best! You should see the goofy smile on my face right now lol, I must look like such an idiot, but talk of Jibblets has been known to do that to me. So, so, so cute!

This was the perfect mixture of angst and sweetness. Like, absolutely perfect. I liked Gibbs opening up, and giving Jenny a bit more information about Shannon and Kelly.

It just last soooo long! :( Anyways, the chapters I'd missed were awesome. I love Charlotte - shes so cute! Gibbs comforting her when she was scared of the storms? sooo cute!

AW! My sister- and one of the dogs we had - were very afraid of thunder when we were kids, but I was never that afraid of thunder. Now that I am all grown-up I am often afraid of large masses of rainwater when it does not drain away and I have to walk near or through it, because such rainwater can knock a person of their feet if their or flow is quite strong and you can drown in mere inches of water.

OH MY GOD, THIS IS SO ADORABLE! *.* cutest thing I've ever read, M, I loved every word of it! I'll go as far as to say that this chapter was even cuter and more adorable than the previous one, and that's saying something!
