I really, really like this story. But the punishments really threw me. Between the attempted infanticide that was ignored in the last chapter, to Shimura getting life after manipulating the council, it was too much and took me right out of the story. The Konoha I know executes people guilty of treason. She was insanely dangerous, and carrying on a legacy of subverting the council. It would have been much more believable to have an execution of every member of her clan. It would be stupid to allow someone so unhinged and dangerous to live.

Just shouting "I'll kill you" at Naruto should have gotten her hanged.

This story was so amazing and I can't even imagine waiting nine years to read all of it. But those nine years really paid off and you made a really spectacular story. I don't usually read stories that are as heartwarming as this. I am simply floor after reading the whole thing the last few days. It is simple awesome. I'm really glad I got to read it and I'm glad you stuck with it for so long. Change it if you want but I think it is perfect just the way it is. I hope there's a sequel at some point but man I'm going to have to reread this it was so good. Thanks so much for all of your work!
