dancingkatz chapter 1 . 7/31/2018 Ah, memories of mischief... . Go, Alan! I can just here Mandy's hysterics from here. This was a lovely follow up to the earlier story, Bravo! |
RoboTitaness chapter 1 . 8/15/2017 Ah man. I'd read Star Gazer weeks - months even - back. Now I find this little gem. It just made it all the better. I'm in love with your writing. I didn't even know I needed this until now. |
spockllap chapter 1 . 5/28/2017 nawwww |
Guest chapter 1 . 6/13/2016 Permission to throw Mandy off the nearest bridge? Aggghhh she makes me SO ANGRY. As if turning up uninvited at their house to flirt with them and get their money wasn't enough...I thought they all showed remarkable self control when she made that comment about Gordon. And of course Papa Tracy knew, he knows all, sees all! |
Darkflame's Pyre chapter 1 . 2/5/2012 I love when you read a story, and the details are so fresh in your mind that the sequel brings it all back. Loved the boys' reaction to the revelation that Jeff knew everything the entire time, and hadn't mentioned it for eight years! Loved it! |
TBMom chapter 1 . 11/2/2011 Very nice follow up! |
ofermode chapter 1 . 2/22/2011 Lol! I love the way you grew them up ( is that right?) but still kept them the same. |
LiGi chapter 1 . 1/26/2011 Ok can I kill Mandy for what she said about Gordon? Damn her for being a girl and therefore off limits for Scott to punch in the face. Go Alan with the spiders though! Again I loved the brotherliness (is that a word? It should be a word) so cute, and how Jeff knew all about the Star Gazer incident, hehe! Also I liked how you portrayed Gordon after the accident, awwwwww! Anyway, I'll be quiet now! Loved it! |
bubzchoc chapter 1 . 1/21/2011 lol excellent lol |
Whirlgirl chapter 1 . 1/20/2011 EEWWW, Spiders! Poor Alan, All ready worried about the insect population on the Island. Loved the fact that even a prank Gordon had set up years ago got to play out before they all left the house for the last time. Sort of a final fond farewell from the genius loci. Oh MANDY! "I'm beautiful" does not Awesome make. Though she did show more scruples than I thought she might when she drew the line at cradle robbing. I could just see John holding Virgil back and wondering how in the heck he was going to keep Scott from doing something penultimately stupid. Great Job Alan! Couldn't have put them to better use! Growing up and moving on but still together as a family. That's the happy ending right there. Nice tie in with Star Gazer. |
Joanne Brandon chapter 1 . 1/20/2011 I like it, I was in need of having my day brightened and it was kinda perfect - ever thought of being a doctor as that just cured me of anger, pain and tears so thanks for giving me that great remedy |
sammygirl1963 chapter 1 . 1/20/2011 LOL, love the way Alan got back at Mandy for the cruel words she said about Gordon. That was awesome! |
Angel-Sue76 chapter 1 . 1/20/2011 Yep you did it honey that really cheered me up though I so wanted to deck Mandy for being such a well nasty person. Hee hee loved the spiders in the cupboard though I think some water on her head would have been better hee hee. Go Jeff loved their shock that he had known all along and of course the terrible two would never trip over a tree. Brilliant honey. You are just totally fab |
Big Sis chapter 1 . 1/20/2011 Giggle Giggle! my dear xx :-P |
Silver Bee chapter 1 . 1/20/2011 This was a great ‘ending’ to Star Gazer, especially since it was also the beginning of International Rescue. Some great brotherly interaction here. Mandy was evil (though she was obviously right when she decided Virg was better than Scott!). Alan was great in this too – loved his revenge with the spiders. (And he saved Virgil from falling down the stairs – thanks, Al!) So the oldest boys’ guilty secrets were finally revealed... good old Jeff, he’s a great dad. Another lovely moment in the lives of the family. Looking forward to your next story. Bee |
