I like how you've really captured Garrus' character here. He's so vulnerable & adorable-totally needs Shepard.

This was really adorable. I liked how they worked through their issues without losing their humor or affection. You did a good job of showing how strong they are as a couple. Very nice!

such a sweet, simple, and touching story. sometimes i can get tired of all the over complicated stories, i just want something like this. it flowed nicely, and really made me connect to the two. it wasn't just about the love, but emotion and friendship as well. thanks for sharing this, you have a knack for writing.

I love "more than skin and species" and "connected by their fault lines". I also like how you've explained Shepard's short hair as a fault of Lazarus, and how you made "reach and flexibility" something less risque and more...about how they'll protect each other. The dialogue at the beginning was a little stiff. Something like "Don't think I'm about to be scared off by a simple biological risk." is implied elsewhere in her words, and therefore is something a person isn't likely to say...they bandy around issues. But it did work to further the conversation, and I'm only learning how to get people to talk like people myself. This fic was cute, and I read it even though I feel sortof lukewarm toward Shep/Garrus, so that's a compliment. _
