Aggghhh... I've read a lot of Doctor-visits-Donna-just-before-her-death, but this is definitely the best. I wrote one as well, if you want to read it ;) (I'm not stumping for myself or anything. Of course not!) It's called 'Goodbye, Donna Noble'. Actually, for a minute there I thought ours were going to be exactly the same; you wrote Donna as being 86, I wrote her as 85. The way he approaches her is very similar as well. But they're different enough that no one will think that one of us plagiarized the other :D
So, anyways, I really liked this! It's actually one of the least-sad things of yours that I've read, though it is sad.

Tragic. Tragic and beautiful...and so very HIM. It was right of him to go back again, to give her back herself for one more minute in time. That last line killed me. It is terribly sad, but it speaks of a beautiful bond of friendship and trust. I don't even have the words to describe it...Absolutely tragic. Absolutely beautiful. Absolutely perfect.

Now this is what Donna deserves, if nothing else. She deserves to at least remember at the end. Now why didn't anyone else think of this? I guess canon didn't do this because it left out any hope of ever bringing Donna back. I loved this, keep writing!

Truely a sad ending but I think it is nice he went back to see her.

And upon being commanded by his best friend to find someone, he immediately latches onto the first redhead he finds, and steals her away on the eve of her wedding... :/

This is me, trying very, VERY hard not to cry. Poor Donna... of all the companions, her fate upon leaving the TARDIS was the saddest (well, that we know of... it's possible that Ace met a worse one, though I can't imagine it).

This was lovely and tragic and is DEFINITELY being recorded in the DoctorDonna archive!
