I've just had the very good fortune of stumbling across all your fics. This is the first one I have read but will be reading all of them in the coming days. This story is absolutely beautiful. I think Harry is the most gorgeous creature on the planet:) Loved the way he was with Ruth in your story. I hated the fact that in the show he let Ruth just stand there and break her heart against the wall. There's no way Harry would have done that - he would have done exactly what you wrote. Loved rugby tackling, drunken Ros as well. I always thought she and Harry had a wonderful relationship and you wrote it beautifully here. So glad Ruth comforted Harry in the end. They really needed each other so badly. Great work and can't wait to read some more of your fics.

Oh, this is so agonisingly painful to read, yet absolutely perfect for them all. Fantastically well kept in character, and some gorgeous descriptions throughout - love it!

Chicken soup for the soul. Harry, Ruth and a drunken Ros! Who could ask for more? Sigh. I still haven't forgiven the writers of Spooks for killing Jo off so cruelly. Especially considering she had to endure being raped not long beforehand. Although I suppose she got off better than Zaf. But I digress... This was an exceptionally comforting little gem. I still need to go back and review the tail end of your last story, but rest assured your work is always appreciated.

Slowly, but surely, you pulled me into this ...and just when I was totally hooked...it ended!

Especially loved how Ruth and Harry looked after one another so tenderly. Poor Harry, though. So much pain, so much on his shoulders! (Which is WHY it was so gratifying to have Ruth take care of him.)

WOW! This was GORGEOUS! Just brilliant. I do hope there's more. I loved it!

Great job of depicting the three perspectives.

They certainly all have their own way of dealing with tragedy, but none of them can do it alone, even if they don't realise it, and that's realistic.

That was absolutely beautiful! The first part of the story where Harry is comforting Ruth is something I would've liked to see in the actual series. You wrote it so beautifully that I could actually picture it in my head. Also, I really liked the fact that it was Harry going to comfort Ros, and not Lucas. I always quite liked the interaction between Harry and Ros, I felt they understood each other.

And of course the ending was just gorgeous :)

I love this. It has everything that makes Spooks what it is. Particularly love the fact that it was Harry comforting Ruth at the beginning and then vies versa at the end. And I know I shouldn't laugh but I have to admit that Ros' scene did have me giggling. Just the image of her drunk, rugby tackling Harry.. XD But I appreciate the serious too; it's all very well written and flows nicely.

Harry's poor ribs! :( I think Ruth needs to see to those...

I could see this happening after 8.3. Poor Harry, he really does seem to be the one that is responsible for them all. Loved the way he went back to Ruth but couldnt quite ask for her help. Very in character for them all. Brilliant.

Poor Harry. You can't help but wonder sometimes why he does the job. Really enjoyed this and I'm now off to google Richard Burton in Taming of the Shrew!
