Surprisingly, for I've never read a fic like this before, I've found myself so entranced that I couldn't even stop reading! And, now I'm exhausted and sleepy, but this fic is so totally worth a bit of sleeplessness! And I adore Marcellus! And I love his growing relationship with Sebastian! He's a demon version of that warm, cuddly grandfather! And, I simply am loving how Ciel and Sebastian's own relationship has grown! They've grown closer and broken down some walls that had always been there between them. I don't know, exactly, what they feel for each other... but it's pretty clear that both care for each other deeply. I'm gonna read the sequel, cuz that's, undoubtedly, just as stunningly amazing as this fic is!

I loved this story I couldn't put it down (reading on my phone), I wanted to know what happened to Sebastian and Ciel and I wanted to know who Marcellus was but o had a slight feeling who he was in later chapters but I wasn't sure. I can't wait to read more, your such a great author

Brilliant, your writing is brilliant especially your sense of character. I enjoyed this imensely.

You know, their are a lot of stories that are popular even though the author doesn't work hard on the and never cares.

But this is one of the better ones, I don't know how hard you worked but this was entertaining, and their were twists and horrifying moments that really made me feel as if I was watching the show! Good job!

You know, Marcellus thinking of Sebastian as a child reminds me of the reason dumbledore teasers everyone around him like children in Harry potter

God, I hate Marcellus! He so demeaning to Sebasion! Which is weird, cuz Sabation is supposed to be on top of EVERYTHING so for me it's weird seeing him be beaten at all!

I am speechless. Never in my life have I read a fanfiction as marvolus as this one, and written with such precision that it rivals with published works! The characters that you created weaved themselves FLAWLESSLY into the plotline, and simotaniously, you kept the original characters true to themselves! I have spent the last few days reading this story non-stop, and have admired it to such great lengths that I have even recommended it to several of my friends, who are now in the process of reading it. Thank you SO much for writing this story, and I can't wait to read any other stories that you may post ( or publish!) in the future.

I think that you did this rather well. You are one of the only people on this site that can portray Sebastian and Ciel extremely well. The other characters are portrayed well too, but those two really stood out to me in particular. Also, this story is quite insane, and I love it! Ugh, it always took such unexpected turns and I loved every single word of it. Please, keep up the great work and I'll be checking out your other works. Keep up the amazing work, darling! C:

I just finished this! At long last! It took me a while, but I enjoyed every minute of it! First off, your writing is just downright fantastic. It's elegant, realistic, and really worked with the time period and fandom of Kuroshitsuji. If there were any anachronisms (which are generally unavoidable) none were memorable enough to matter.

Your OCs were great. Sir Charles was the perfect villain and I became rather attached to Marcellus. I always wondered what he looked like, and I can't remember if his description was given somewhere in the story, but nevertheless I loved his personality, his relationship and interactions with Sebastian were really cool, and I missed him a lot when he finally had to go. Maybe we'll be seeing more of him? I don't know why, but I always pictured Marcellus looking like Ash. Weird, I know. xD I actually didn't care too much for the fiend, but I didn't /dislike/ her too much either.

I love how you portray Ciel and Sebastian (They seem pretty IC, all things considering, but OOCness and ICness don't usually matter to me unless it's /that/ bad), but I especially love how you portray Sebastian. Possibly because I'm a huge Sebastian fangirl and whenever he would play with cats, show human emotion, etc. I would just internally squeal. xD Is it strange that I worked a little amateur photoshop magic after reading this just because I wanted to see what Sebastian would look like with blue eyes? Nah.

After reading this, I'm also curious as to what your opinion on yaoi is. :3 (I'm sorry if it was mentioned somewhere, I just have a really bad memory sometimes). With some of the scenes, I couldn't help but want there to be some SebaCiel fluffy shounen-ai or something along the lines of that, but on the other hand, I almost couldn't imagine Sebastian or Ciel thinking of each other like that in this particular fic. It just seems almost out of the question, but my inner SebaCiel yaoi fangirl won't shut up. xD Ah well, whichever direction the sequel turns, I'm sure I'll enjoy it immensely.

So yeah. I probably have a lot more to say, but I can't think of anything at the moment. I kinda wish this was canon now. Off to read the sequel I go!

Over the course of the past few months, I've been reading a chapter here and there up to this point. I had planned on leaving a review once I was completely finished with this (I still plan on it) but after reading this chapter, I just had to say something. I think you're a brilliant writer, and this chapter really showed it for me especially. At the end, with Charles, your talent really shone through. It was creepy, tense, it felt like he could completely snap at any moment - The way in which you kept that underlying sense of almost psychotic dread in that small scene was really neat. For some reason I just really liked that. I love this story idea, the way you execute it; just everything! Great, great job. I could go on for much longer about how much I love this story, but I think I'll save the rest of my gushing for when I reach this fic's end. :)
