Just from this I adore the Hare. Adorable, and the notion that it's behavior reflects it's contractor makes Liam adorable too.

I went and reread the last chapter after reviewing thinking that this was a oneshot, and then I DISCOVERED THE NEXT BUTTON! :D I love the comedy in this fic, it somehow complements the angst and makes it better. That last bit - the "one flapping pajama sleeve" was so inexpressibly Break that I laughed out loud :)

Their friendship is so cute... I love how you managed to capture all the subtleties of their friendship in a fic like this. Break is such a reclusive character, and it's nice to read something that explores the deeper aspects of his personality and how he cares about his friends. Thank you for writing this, and thank you again for writing it WELL. :)

So first chapter: powerful, well written and amongst the best works I've read (I don't do yaoi really) between these two characters. I thought you showed a really good and necessary element of their relationship.

Second chapter: once I read Liam's calm suggestion, I laughed so hard, I teared up. I kinda looked like this X'D My eyes do scrunch up like that.

Definately will want to re-read this when needing some good Xerxes and Liam.

Your story is a great explanation of what could have happened between Break and Reim post-party. Both characters were very much like we've known them to be and also you show another side of each of them that a reader has probably never seen, but you did a great job in keeping them like themselves.

"Perhaps soon they'll all start pairing off and making babies for you to play with. They'll call you Uncle Xerk and steal the candy from your pockets and climb on you, all the time."

BTW This was my favorite line!

I love it. I was always fond of the friendship between Xerxes and Reim:

"I was there the day you sneezed yourself off the balcony railing at Lady Cheryl's tea party and went head first into the rosebushes underneath it," Liam reminded him, flat-toned and straightfaced. "I have serious doubts that you can top that.

I swear this is canon.

And Xerxes having a meltdown over Reim is as adorable as the March Hare. Very adorable.

Speaking of which, that line about the Hare missing Break and chirping a song in the omake is just aww~~

I am well-aware that I've already reviewed this, but I felt the need to say once again how /fantastic/ you are at writing. Please, never stop. I absolutely love reading your works, especially this one. I never get tired of rereading it. ~
