I listened to the song. It was SO Mikey. Not what I was expecting though. I read the first few lines and expected it to be some sort of rap. But then it turned out to be a 'county' thing, the exact kind of music I grew up with. I loved this story. It was cute and funny and so undeniably Mikey. Glad he can get some appreciation for his work every once in a while. I think it's something Mike really enjoys, considering his isolation from the beings he's sworn to protect.

Nice. Reminds me of the tmnt shirt that says "chicks dig guys that eat out" which I always thought was funny. Good job.

Oh my gosh! This is the very very very best Mikey song fic I think I've ever read EVER! I absolutely loved it! Especially since I'm a Midwestern country Hoosier who loves this song like none other. Mix it with Mikey, my favoritist turtle in the whole wide world, and I'm cracking up smiling like an idiot as I write this here, doing my best not to have a complete fangasm at just how dang EPIC this was! I loved it so much! Great job!

Okay, that was the best song fic I've ever read. They're usually dumb, but I enjoyed this one a lot. Really well written. I loved the line 'this is either gonna be really cool, or really painful.' XD So Mikey.
